Game Modes
AIRMASH has three game modes. Each plays quite differently.

Free For All (FFA)
Every pilot for themselves. Kill to earn score, die and lose some. Climb the leaderboard.
How it works:
- You spawn, you fight, you respawn. No teams, no objectives beyond the kill.
- Score is gained from kills and lost on death — the leaderboard reflects your current streak.
- Inferno and shield powerups spawn around the map.
- Upgrades drop when you kill players with enough score.
Map: The full world map with regional spawn zones (Europe, Canada, Latin America, Asia).
Capture the Flag (CTF)
Two teams. Two flags. Grab theirs, defend yours.
How it works:
- Blue and Red teams each have a base with a flag.
- Capture the enemy flag by flying it back to your own base while your flag is safe.
- Your team's base has a periodic shield that protects the flag area.
- Respawn near your base after dying.
Strategy:
- Coordinate between attack and defense.
- Mohawks and Predators are great runners — fast enough to grab and go.
- Goliaths can guard the base and repel attackers.
- Prowlers can stealth-grab flags.
- In Air-Battle, bots strategize between
#captureand#defendand will pass the flag to teammates.
Map: The full world map with bases at opposite ends.

Battle Royale (BTR)
Last one flying wins. A shrinking firewall forces everyone together.
How it works:
- Players gather in a waiting area until enough join.
- When the match starts, everyone is placed on the map.
- A firewall closes in from the edges over time — stay inside or take damage.
- No respawns. Last player alive wins the round.
- After the round ends, the next match begins after a short wait.
Strategy:
- Positioning matters — don't get pushed to the edge of the firewall.
- Collect powerups early while the map is large.
- Predator boost is great for escaping tight spots.
Map: The standard map, with a visible boundary that shrinks toward the center.
